This was taken in Luquillo, Puerto Rico which is one of my absolute favorite places. I hope your Saturday is full of relaxation and happiness :)

So now that I’m out of vacation mode, I have to share with you about the rest of Celia and Charlie’s gorgeous day. It started off to a bit of a rocky start with big rain clouds and the occasional torrential downpour. But they say that if it rains on your wedding day – you’ll have a blessed marriage! Their small but intimate wedding was held at Richmond Hall in Philadelphia, PA and was my first Jewish wedding! How fun :)

Celia and Charlie, I wish you nothing but the best! Thank you for inviting me to document one of the most important days of your lives. It has been awesome getting to know you two over this past year.

Sit tight for a more lucid post, my mind is still on vacation.

I should be packing, I should be packing, I should be packing! There, I got that out. Instead of packing here I am, full of excitement, editing today’s wedding. You may remember Celia and Charlie from their recent engagement session here – well! They are now the lovely Mr. and Mrs. Siegel or to quote one of the toasts from this evening “Mr. and Mrs. Celia Rae” hehe. Celia and Charlie are off to the lovely Cancun tomorrow morning so I wanted to make sure I posted a teeny tiny teaser for them to wake up to! I’ll be out of the office next week but I will have a proper blog post about their wedding soon, I promise!

The bride with the best man (Joe) and her man of honor (Luke).Charlie’s turn for a smooch!
Haha, these guys were hilarious and totally up for anything! I loved it.

Celia and Charlie – congratulations on your beautiful marriage! I hope you have a lovely honeymoon and I know that you’ll have a wonderful life together. Enjoy yourselves tomorrow and for the rest of the week :)

Always,
Vida

Love After Love

August 8, 2009

Happy Saturday everyone! Today has been ridiculously crazy for me since the minute I woke up and took my dog for a morning run. My family had a yard sale which is always super hectic. I spent the day price checking, running up and down steps and falling in love with the memories of our old house all over again. Then earlier this evening I had a lovely client meeting for another 2010 wedding! I ended my day (so far) with picking up four books at Border’s (one of them being The Time Traveler’s Wife! I can’t wait for the movie, tehehe). I also got a new macro lens that I can’t wait to use at tomorrow’s wedding. I used it for a few pictures but by the time I had time to really start using it – I was overwhelmingly exhausted. I managed to get a few pictures and all I can say is *looooove* it! :)
