I have been a bad blogger lately.. I have so much to catch up that my head is spinning just thinking about it. So to make this easier on me and you (okay – mostly just me) I’ll make this short, sweet, and to the point.

Last week I shot the Walk Off fashion show with my friend Natalie Franke (read about it here)
The winner, Bree, received a free photo shoot
A few of the other models came along as well and we had an AWESOME shoot in the city
I love the spring timeminus the massive allergies I get

shalon & darwin: philadelphia engagement photographer

Meet Shalon and Darwin. I met Shalon a year or two ago in a public speaking class and when she found out I was a photographer she told me that whenever she got engaged to her boyfriend Darwin that they were going to have a destination wedding. I got excited just hearing about it but I knew it wasn’t for awhile so I didn’t get my hopes up. Fast forward to a few weeks ago – I get this excited email from Shalon saying she finally got engaged and that in December they’ll be having a beautiful destination wedding in Mexico!!! Just when I thought things couldn’t get more exciting, we had the engagement session. Talk about a GORGEOUS couple! But they’re not only gorgeous, they’re down to earth and completely in love with each other. I seriously feel like I’ve known them forever and I cannot wait for their gorgeous wedding in Mexico. (PS: I had the hardest time narrowing down their images so… there’s alot hehehe).

This is definitely my favorite engagement shoot you’ve done so far! I love this couple and the three photo series you have of them and the photo where they are holding hands but spaced apart, what a great shot! These two look very natural in front of a camera and I’m digging the vibe I get looking at these photos.

abby and guny: philadelphia engagement photographer

Meet Abby and Guny. Abby is from Wisconsin and Guny is from Paraguay! Guny plays a fierce game of soccer every weekend and Abby studied the same thing in college that I’m currently studying (Psych+Spanish). We met up on Saturday and I realized that there are 4 reasons why I absolutely love Abby and Guny.

1. They are adorable!
2. They love being silly with each other.
3. They both speak Spanish!
4. THEY BROUGHT ME HOME MADE EMPANADAS!

I was a happy ladyAnyways.. here are a few of my favorites from the day. Sorry I don’t have a picture of the Empanadas.. I ate them before I could take a picture ;x hehehe.
